A light-duty truck is any motor vehicle having a gross vehicle weight rating (curb weight plus payload) of no more than 8,500 pounds (3,855.5 kg). 
Where Does CarMD Plug In? CarMD plug into a connector is conveniently found inside your vehicle. It is generally found under a car’s steering wheel, but manufacturers are given the option to place it in nine different locations (see diagram at the right). CarMD also makes it convenient by providing you a photo and exact location of your vehicle’s plug by simply selecting your vehicle’s year, make and model.
